Creating a well-performing website on WordPress involves a combination of strategic planning, design, and technical execution. In general, you can think of building a website in four big steps:

1) Decide what the purpose of your website is: In order to build a well-functioning website, it is important to first define exactly what the purpose of the website is. What business functions it supports and how. Depending on what your business is, what industry you work in, and who your customers are, the optimal digital marketing solution for your company can take very different forms.
Some of the most common types of websites:
2) Choose the right hosting service and domain: Choose a reliable hosting service that offers WordPress-specific hosting. Secure a domain name that reflects your brand and is easy for users to remember.
When choosing accommodation, it is important to keep in mind:

3) Installing WordPress and Elementor: After choosing a suitable hosting service and domain, install WordPress – most hosting services offer a one-click solution for this. Next, install Elementor, which makes it easy to create a website without coding:
Elementor offers both a free and paid version, which provides more design options and functionality.
4) Choosing a topic: A theme determines the visual style and user experience of a website. Choose a theme that fits your brand identity and is optimized for speed and SEO. To do this, go to Appearance > Themes > Add New, browse the available themes, or upload your own custom solution.
A good theme should be fast, mobile-friendly, and offer the necessary customization options. If you are using Elementor, it is recommended to choose an easily customizable and simple theme, such as Hello Elementor or Astra, which work seamlessly with the page builder. A larger selection of themes can be found here:

1) Creating a suitable website structure: In order to create a suitable website structure, you need to decide what information you need to provide to the visitor to motivate them to make a decision. In general, most websites are structured according to a fairly standard pattern and contain at least 5+ subpages.
Typical website structure:
2) creating content texts (in English "copywriting"): Creating content for your website starts with understanding your target audience. You need to understand how your customers think and what information they are looking for. This is best understood by the sales people of any given company, who deal with customers and their recurring questions about products and services every day. Writing content (in English “copywriting”) is a science in itself, which can get infinitely complicated. But initially it makes sense to start from how the company already sells its services and products. The initial content for the website is nothing more than a daily conversation between salespeople and customers, adapted to the existing structure and design of your page. Simplicity, clarity and informativeness are the keywords to focus on initially.
3) Selecting images: Choosing images for your website is an important step that affects user experience and brand perception. It is important to choose high-quality, relevant photos that support your brand message and increase visual appeal. You should use original or copyrighted images to avoid legal issues. It is also wise to mix images downloaded from databases (in English „stock images“) with images you have taken yourself. This ensures the original look of your website.
4) Using videos: Using videos on your website makes your content more dynamic and engaging. One option is to look for high-quality videos that support your message and brand values. Another option is to have a video made that introduces your company, products, or services. Use copyrighted materials carefully, preferring original creations or licensed content.
Reasons to use videos on your website:

1) Using the Elementor interface: Using the Elementor interface on a WordPress website provides an intuitive drag and drop interface that makes page design quick and easy. Offering a wide range of customizable widgets and template elements, Elementor allows you to create professional-looking websites without any coding skills.
2) Website optimization for mobile and tablet: Since roughly half of website visitors come via mobile and tablet, it is important that your website is optimized to work on these devices as well. WordPress offers a fairly simple and intuitive system for how to do this.
3) Website optimization for search engines (Search engine optimization or SEO): Like writing content, improving search engine indexing is a science in itself. Indexing in search engines is influenced by many different factors, from the structure of a website, to the technical and content optimizations made on the site, to what off-site links point to your page. Optimizing a website for search engines on a full scale is a long process, and the results cannot be predicted with any precision. However, there are some simple actions that, if implemented, can be considered „enough to get started“ with search engine optimization of a website:

Website testing involves running the website as a whole on all media (computer, phone, tablet) and with all the necessary features. It is also a good idea to use different people's devices, as a website may display and function differently when viewed on, for example, 5 different mobile phones.
Characteristics of a well-made website that should be tested on different devices (ideally on at least 5 people's devices):
